Amazing!!! Loved this place. Gave us an upgrade without the extra charge, and wow, were we so glad they did!! The River View Room was amazing. View of Mt. Hood from the bathtub. Great customer service and wonderful accommodations. Would go back just to experience the B&B. Breakfast was sooo good. Awesome views and surrounding. Loved it.

Absolute heaven - so very serene and peaceful and so incredibly beautiful!! This bed and breakfast sits on a hill overlooking Hood River, Oregon and faces Mount Hood - the property is absolutely gorgeous. It sits on an organic orchard and is a working farm with a full garden and farm animals. The attention to detail inside the B&B is impeccable and the place is spotlessly clean. It's truly relaxing and quiet - and at night you can see every star in the sky. The service is excellent and the food is delicious and fresh as it all comes from their own farm. I highly recommend the Mount Hood room as it features a beautiful, clear view of the mountain. This is definitely one of those places you come to to unplug from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The property: When you first enter their gate, you drive through an organic orchard and as the driveway winds around, you end up at the most adorable 3 story cabin. The grounds surrounding it are beautifully landscaped with pretty flowers growing and the grounds are nice and colorful. They have the friendliest cat that hangs around the front and greets you as you walk up, too. When you walk to the backside of the cabin, you see Mount Hood -- and many of the rooms feature a gorgeous view of the mountain... absolutely beautiful, unobstructed panoramic views of both the valley and the mountain. Hood River is off to your left. To your right, you see the Sakura Ridge garden where they grow all of the vegetables that they serve during breakfast. They also have their own goats and chickens and they are fun to watch too. The cabin/ rooms: The rooms are adorable -- I arrived at the start of a weekend when the other guests had yet to get there and I peeked it at each of the rooms. They are very cute and inviting. Not all of the rooms feature a view of Mount Hood (some have a view of the side yard, etc), however, it appears that most do. Even if your bedroom doesn't have a view of the mountain, you can always utilize one of the common deck areas that feature amazing views and comfy adirondack chairs. We stayed in the Mount Hood Room and I enjoyed every minute of the amazing views we had. We had our own private patio and stayed out until late at night when we could see every star in the sky. Hood River is down below and there isn't any light pollution to impede your views - it's just magical and romantic. Each of the rooms also have the Toto toilets which have bidet features (not a fan!) - but the heated seats are amaaazing.. haha. The tiled floors are also heated and there is a thermostat on the walls to control the temp. Love it :) The only thing I didn't care for was the fact that the WiFi was so slow it was basically ineffective and there was no TV in our rooms, but that's OK. This is one of those places you really come to to unplug anyway. Also - the cabin has a central community living room and a community kitchen complete with a fridge, microwave, oven, etc. One of the other guests that was there during our stay caught some salmon down in the Columbia and cooked it one night while we were there. They have dishes and all of the utensils you need to make that happen if you don't feel like going out. The food/ service: Breakfast is served each morning at 8:30AM. You sit family style with other guests (but I think that is fun to meet new people - when we were there, there were couples from California and Vermont). The food is fantastic and super fresh as it comes from their own farm (veggies, fruit, sausage, fresh farm eggs, etc). The owner is both the cook and the server and she is friendly and helpful. Afterwards, she and her husband disappear to work on the property and you don't see them again until the next morning at breakfast. Hood River, OR: While this is not directly about the B&B, I just want to say that this is one of the cutest towns in America that I have ever visited. You can shop, play on the water, visit Mount Hood & Timberline Lodge, you can take the "fruit loop" and visit the area's local berry farms, hike in the area and see some awesome waterfalls, drive through the Columbia River Gorge, etc. We had the best time here. I highly recommend this town and this B&B. We also had an Italian dinner one night at Romul's and it was very tasty, so I recommend them as well. :) Enjoy :)

My wife and I decided to visit Hood River and discovered this lovely place online. The online pictures and reviews were great but experiencing this place in person was even better ... the long drive on the private road with snowy Mt. Hood in the background on a clear cloudless day ... the 5-star attention to detail ... the amenities ... Deanna's breakfast with soft scrambled eggs and fresh lamb sausage from scratch ... so yummy ... the hospitality ... the Japanese toilets ... we really loved everything about this place and especially the huge picture windows featuring Mt. Hood in the center. It reminded me of a temple in Kyoto where the columns and beams were placed like a picture window to feature the natural surroundings. Thank you Deanna and John. We hope to visit with you again soon.

My wife and I stayed here in Sept. 2014. First experience at a B & B. Would definitely recommend. To sum it up.... Friendly service, excellent food, & an unbelievable picturesque view. They set the "bar" pretty high. Hope our next B & B experience is as nice.

I just can't say enough good about this B&B. It is an Incredible place to stay and a Great value. The Host was very nice, very knowledgeable about the area, and available but unintrusive. Sakura Ridge sits in a beautiful orchard, farm and has a great view of Mount Hood. We chose the river room and got an unexpected surprise one morning, when the skies were clear, Mount Hood was just out the window, what a great view. The Breakfast was really great.... The entirety of the breakfast was locally sourced from the farm or neighbors farms. It was very well presented and delicious. Hood River is a neat town with at least one great brewery and some good pizza places.. There are some other activities in the town (Windsurfing and kayaking off the top of my head). Sakura Ridge is close enough to go into Portland for the day. There are tons of parks and waterfalls between Hood river and Portland. I have a rule about staying at B&B's They can't be frufru (I'm a dude). Sakura ridge is, as they describe it, Rustic and Classy. I felt totally comfortable there and I'd even feel comfortable staying there if I was by myself. Ha.

This place is SO relaxing and not a typical B&B. It's beautifully designed and every detail is thought out. The owners were amazing and I can't wait to go back!

A hidden gem. Expansive pristine farm land and rolling hills with a stunning view of Mt. hood. Beautifully designed and classy lodge. Ridiculously good breakfast. It doesn't get any better than this. Will probably fly up again from the Bay Area just to stay at this place again.

Wonderful place with great food and views of Mt. Hood from the B&B. The orchards and sheep add a bit of pastoral ambience to this special setting.
